Walked into the incredible smell that reminded me of back home. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, working hard and maintaining the structure of a classic NY Pizzeria in Georgia - along with the owner working beside them & interacting with his guests! One bite of a regular slice and I instantly knew “This is the place to eat in Rincon”. After trying a specialty slice, I was like “foghettaboutittt” simply delicious and done right. Thanks for opening up shop, bringing real flavor and authentic NY pizza to Rincon.
I heard about Tommy’s Pizza through a local Facebook group and had to check it out. My husband is from Manhattan and very particular about New York-style pizza, so I brought him along to see if it lived up to the hype. He loved it! In fact, he’s already been back on his own. Freshest pizza I’ve ever had. Recommend getting a Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, and Pineapple Pizza. Tiramisu is on point. Eat it normally or eat it frozen. Front lady was sweet. Keep her. My only grievance is the lack of Parmesan. But I also didn’t ask.
Being the first night, I wasn’t expecting the best, but all expectations were exceeded for sure. Fantastic pizza, coming from a Chicago native! Crust has that beautiful chew and crisp all at the same time, sauce is great, sausage is like nothing else in the area. Will definitely be a repeat customer!
A seriously phenomenal pie! We just moved to the area and wanted to see how the local pizza place fared. Ohmygosh I haven’t had one this good since leaving the northeast! I’d placed an order online for pickup and our food was ready promptly. Service was friendly and fast. The crust was a crisp golden perfection, the sauce was truly wonderful, the toppings were generous. Can’t wait to go back!
Satisfies the yankee in me. Best cheese steak south of the mason dixon line! This is what a cheese steak is supposed to taste like. I’m upset we only got a small to try. Also got a chicken parm pizza and it was great. We also tried the stuffed Zeppoles and they were solid. Excited to finally have a place to satisfy a cheese steak craving. Will also not order pizza anywhere else.
I am a pizza snob and I'm not afraid to say it. We finally made it to the infamous Tommys in Rincon for the pizza and I feel like I'm back in NY. The garlic knots were loaded with garlic and parmesan, its not a true pizza joint if theres no shakers on the table....the dough...fresh, the sauce...homemade....and dang look at that fold! If your slice doesn't fold, its not pizza and you should throw it away immediately! And Tommy....love him and the entire staff. Please start delivering to Pooler
